WHAT DOES MATTHEW 7:14 REALLY MEAN?
“Narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” — Matthew 7:14
Most people read that verse and move on.
But if you really stop and look at it, it should shake you.
Because Jesus is telling you something most people don’t want to hear:
The path to life is not easy.
And most people won’t choose it.
We live in a world that tells you:
- take the easy route
- follow your feelings
- do what makes you comfortable
But the narrow path is the opposite of all of that.
THE NARROW PATH COSTS YOU
It costs you:
- comfort
- approval
- convenience
- sometimes even relationships
It forces you to choose discipline over emotion.
Obedience over opinion.
Truth over what feels good in the moment.
FEW FIND IT
Not because it’s hidden.
But because most people won’t walk it.
They see it.
They hear it.
They just don’t choose it.
Because the narrow path requires something most people avoid:
commitment when it’s hard.
THIS ISN’T ABOUT PERFECTION
Walking the narrow path doesn’t mean you’re perfect.
It means:
- you keep showing up
- you keep correcting course
- you keep choosing God even when it costs you
It’s a daily decision.
THIS IS WHY THIS BRAND EXISTS
This isn’t just clothing.
This is a reminder.
A standard.
A call to live differently in a world that’s constantly pulling you the other way.
WALK IT OUT
At some point, everyone has to decide:
Are you going to follow the crowd…
or walk the path few choose?
The Narrow Co. — Faith. Discipline. Obedience.
